  • Dr. Paul Bebenimibo is an emerging academic with a focused research interest in print and broadcast journalism, as well as emerging digital communication technologies. His scholarly pursuits lie at the intersection of traditional media practices and the dynamic evolution of digital platforms in contemporary media ecosystems. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication from Delta State University, Abraka in 2006. Driven by a commitment to advanced scholarship, he proceeded to the prestigious Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where he obtained both his Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Mass Communication in 2012 and 2019, respectively. Dr. Bebenimibo is an active member of several respected national and international professional bodies, including the African Council for Communication Education (ACCE) and the Association of Communication Scholars and Practitioners of Nigeria (ACSPN). He has participated in numerous academic conferences, symposia, and capacity-building workshops, where he has presented research papers and engaged in collaborative learning with other communication scholars and practitioners. His research works have been published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals, both within Nigeria and internationally, reflecting his commitment to contributing to the body of knowledge in communication and media studies. His scholarly output and professional affiliations position him as a promising voice in the ongoing discourse around media transformation and digital innovation in Africa.
